Delete your Baitlab account
Deleting your account removes it and everything attached to it. It is not a flag on a row that stays behind — the account record itself is deleted, and everything that pointed at it goes with it.
In the app — takes a minute
- Open Baitlab, go to Profile and tap Settings (the gear, top right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice — the second dialog asks you to type DELETE, because this is the one action in Baitlab with no undo. Your photos and videos are removed first, then the account itself, and the app returns to the sign-in screen.
If you have already uninstalled the app
Email mika@kuusisto.tech from the email address on the account, with the subject Delete my Baitlab account. If you signed up with Apple or Google, say which, and give the display name you used so the right account is found.
You do not have to reinstall the app to ask. We confirm by email when it is done — within 30 days of the request, and usually the same week.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile, display name and avatar
- Every recipe you made, including the ones still in the 30-day trash, and their photos
- Your posts, reels, comments, likes and follows
- Your bait stock: pours, take-outs and inventory
- Your uploaded images and video, on Cloudflare Images and in the older photo bucket
- Your push-notification device registrations
- Your customer record at RevenueCat, the service that checks store receipts for us
- Your Sign in with Apple link, revoked with Apple, if you signed in that way
What is kept, and why
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Anonymous usage counters | They carry no account id, name or device identifier, so once written they are not personal data and cannot be traced back to you. |
| Purchase records held by Apple and Google | Your subscription is billed by the store, not by us. We never see a card number, and we cannot delete the store's own record of a purchase. |
| Feedback you sent from the app | It lives in a separate support database, so a conversation about it can continue. Email us and we delete it. |
| The photo of a published recipe someone copied | The copy belongs to the person who made it. Its photo is deleted when the copy is. |
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Baitlab Pro is billed by Apple or Google, and it keeps renewing until you cancel it there:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Baitlab → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Play Store → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Baitlab → Cancel
Cancel first, then delete the account.
